About

Lynda Zenati received the Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Illinois Institute of Technology (2020); M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Northeastern Illinois University (2006); B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Illinois Institute of Technology (2003).

I began my teaching career at City Colleges of Chicago where I taught a variety of mathematics courses from developmental mathematics to calculus and statistics. I also taught a variety of mathematics courses at Oakton University, DeVry University, Chamberlain University and Oakton Community College.

My research interest focuses on ways to support students in mathematics courses as well as connecting math to the real world. For example: utilizing asynchronous discussion as an instructional strategy to alleviate some of the difficulties students have in developmental mathematics courses.
