Interpreting Your Results
Your Score on the ALEKS Assessment
Immediately after completing the ALEKS Assessment, you will be shown a pie chart which indicates your score on the ALEKS Assessment. The percentage score above the pie chart area is your ALEKS score (e.g., Placement Result: 93%).
If, on the proctored assessment, you have earned the minimum score needed to register for your desired course, congratulations! See http://www.luc.edu/math/placement/ What ACT, SAT, and/or math placement scores do I need for which course?
Please use the Learning Module to learn more math and so that your class will be easier for you. Incoming students will enroll in a math class during orientation. Returning students can enroll in LOCUS.

You log back into LOCUS, click on the link to ALEKS. There you can click (View Previous Results).
You can take as many MPAs as you like. LUC pays for the first bundle of five. Every subsequent bundle of five costs $15, payable online, through the ALEKS link in LOCUS.
Access to the Learning Module must be begun before six months from the first MPA and lasts at most six months, ending no later than January 31.
Use them to refresh/increase your math memory/knowledge. Use the Learning Modules for an interval of 30 to 45 uninterrupted minutes. Do that two or three times a day. That should prepare you to do better on the next MPA.
