Statistics and Sports

The hockey season just began and it is a perfect time to see how statistics relates to the sport. This Friday, October 17th, Dr. Michael Lopez from Skidmore College will be giving a talk entitled "Measuring responses to incentives encouraged by the National Hockey League's point system." The seminar will occur from 11:30am-12:30pm in Cuneo 202. The talk will be accessible to all audiences.
