Captain Kerry Hare – Assistant Professor of Military Science
Captain Kerry Hare comes to us from our neighboring city Rockford, Illinois. She is a 2011 graduate of Illinois State University with her undergraduate degree in Psychology and commissioned into the Army’s Signal Corps.
She served at the Cadet Leaders Training Course at Fort Knox, KY prior to completing Signal Basic Officer Leaders Course at Fort Gordon, GA from 2011-2012. She served as a Battalion S6 with the 519th Military Police Battalion at Fort Polk, LA; providing support to the Task Force Operations of the Defense CBRN Response Force in 2012. She served as a Platoon Leader, Company XO, and Battalion AS3 with the 86th Expeditionary Signal Battalion at Fort Bliss, TX; directly supporting multiple force modernization Network Integration Evaluations and the Joint Staff’s Coalition Network Evaluation: Bold Quest from 2013-2015. She completed Signal Captains Career Course at Fort Gordon, GA prior to serving as a Battalion S6 with 3-2 General Support Aviation Battalion, and commanding the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade’s Signal Company out of US Army Garrison-Humphreys, South Korea; during high tempo contingency operations from 2016-2019.
CPT Hare is accompanied to Loyola University Chicago with her daughter, and is motivated to serve and train the Rambler Battalion.
