Mr. Djimitri Francois, a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, retired as a Senior Chief from the U.S. Navy on September 30th, 2013 after 26 years of dedicated service to our country. He has deployed to Haiti in support of Operation Uphold Democracy with the 10th Mountain Division; to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom; and to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. His personal awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with five gold stars), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with one gold star) and various unit and campaign awards. Mr. Francois served on 5 Naval Aircraft Carriers; he holds a Bachelor’s degree and is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, RI.  He is currently the Rambler Battalion’s Recruiting Operations Officer, and is responsible for all scholarships and enrollments into the program.
