The Inner-Mission Employee Retreat seeks to assist employees in exploring, discerning, and affirming their personal mission and its connection to the mission of Loyola University. The retreat challenges each participant to take time to reflect on their individual purpose and meaning.
The Ignatian Contemplation Retreat is built on two movements: On the first day, participants will focus on the Principle and Foundation of St. Ignatius’ Spiritual Exercises, while the second day will provide a day of reflection and prayer in silence. Spiritual directors are available to accompany and support participants throughout this retreat.
The Spiritual Exercises are an unfolding series of prayers, meditations, and reflections put together by St. Ignatius of Loyola from his own personal spiritual experience and that of others to whom he listened. The process of the Spiritual Exercises respects the uniqueness of each person and leads participants to a deeper relationship with God and others.
