Refugee Resettlement Project
Loyola Community Support for Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Services
Join the Loyola University Chicago community in supporting Refugee Resettlement Services at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago. The Jesuit apostolic preference that calls us to walk with the excluded asks that each of us seek a conversion in our own hearts that makes us alive and sensitive to the suffering of Christ in our world today. Loyola’s community partnership with Catholic Charities offers us opportunities to live our mission in tangible and meaningful ways.
How You Can Help
As Catholic Charities welcomes refugees from Afghanistan and from other countries to the Rogers Park community, Loyolans are invited to provide support through direct monetary donations both in cash to Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Services and in-kind through gift card donations.
Please consider making a tax-deductible monetary donation to Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Services. Financial contributions will be used to meet the needs of the Refugee Resettlement Services program and are welcomed at any time.
Gift Card Collection
Catholic Charities case managers use gift cards to shop with refugee clients as personal and household needs arise. To contribute gift cards, please purchase a gift card from one of the stores listed below and mail it to Joseph Schenk, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago, 4823 N Kenmore, Chicago, IL 60640.
