Book Award
The MMLA is excited to announce that we are currently accepting submissions for our 2022 and 2023 Book Awards. The book prize will be awarded at the 2022 and 2023 convention respectively with a prize of $500 each to the best book published by an MMLA member. If you are interested in being considered for the award, please email us at mmla@luc.edu.
"Scholarly" and "creative" publications will be recognized in alternate years. Following are the deadlines for the MMLA Book Awards:

Creative publications should be comprised of books published from February 15, 2021 to July 1, 2022 to qualify for the 2022 Book Award. The deadline to submit texts for consideration will be July 1, 2022.

Scholarly publications should be comprised of all books published from July 1, 2021 to July 1, 2023 to qualify for the 2023 Book Award. The deadline to submit texts for consideration will be July 1, 2023.
