Graduate Student Paper Prize

The MMLA is pleased to announce our seventh annual MMLA Graduate Student Paper Prize. The contest is open to all graduate student members of the MMLA who will be presenting papers during the November 2019 convention.  Interested students must submit their CV and a paper accepted to the 2019 convention (limit of 3,000 words exclusive of the Works Cited page ) to mmla@luc.edu with “Graduate Student Paper Prize” in the subject heading. Submissions will be reviewed by the MMLA Executive Committee, and the winning paper will be announced during the keynote speech of the 2019 convention and published in The Journal of the Midwest Modern Language Association. The prize also comes with a cash award of $100, and a guest membership and registration for the 2020 MMLA convention. Submissions are due by October 16, 2019.
