The USA Midwest Province of the Society of Jesus (Province) has notified Loyola University Chicago that the Province has recently investigated and found credible a new allegation of sexual misconduct of a Loyola student (age 17-18) by Jesuit Fr. Thomas Gannon (deceased) that occurred in 1977-1978 when Gannon was assigned to Loyola.
