We can always use your help
Explore some of the ways you can become involved in the activities of the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing Alumni Association.
Alumni and friends contribute to the success of Loyola Nursing by volunteering their time and talents within our nursing community. From fundraising, to organizing alumni events, to offering advice about the direction of strategic initiatives, the School of Nursing can always use your help.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BOARD
Alumni can join the Board and help shape programs and policies that serve alumni and Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing students.
The School of Nursing Dean’s Council supports our mission to graduate caring, skilled, and culturally-competent nurses and health care professionals who will lead tomorrow’s health care innovation. Consisting of alumni donors, business and community leaders, and other friends of Loyola Nursing, the council provides advice, perspective, and direction on school-related activities such as fundraising, strategic initiatives, campaign planning, and community visibility.
BLESSING OF THE HANDS MASS AND BRUNCH REUNION CLASS REPRESENTATIVE
Each year, the School of Nursing invites alumni, faculty, and current students to connect at the Blessing of the Hands Mass and Alumni Brunch. Help organize and encourage fellow classmates to attend by volunteering as a class representative. Contact Cassandra Smith, Director of Alumni Relations, if you are interested.
HOST, SPONSOR, OR PARTICIPATE IN ALUMNI EVENTS
Become actively involved in regional events, from outreach programs to small private dinners, where Loyola Nursing leaders visit directly with alumni to discuss your nursing experiences and discoveries at the School of Nursing and beyond. Contact our Alumni Relations team to get involved.
There are several volunteer opportunities for Loyola Nursing alumni to get involved with student activities and classes. Contact the Office of Alumni Relations or Danielle Hilgers, Director of Development, at 708.216.1827 if you have any questions or want to get involved.
