Group Development

Group development programs are portable team building experiences that can be offered on the Lake Shore, Water Tower, and Health Science campuses. Each group development program is customized and purposeful to focus on specific group goals – helping to lead to both individual and group learning.

Student facilitators provide a series of fun and increasingly difficult activities using various portable props and equipment; reflections are facilitated throughout the process in order to provide optimal discussion and learning. Some typical desired learning outcomes include: effective communication, problem solving, trust building, goal setting, cooperation, conflict management, etc….
