Outdoor Leadership Workshop
The Outdoor Leadership Workshop (OLW) is a semester long workshop offered every spring semester.
Participants in the OLW will learn the skills helpful in being an outdoor leader/facilitator. No experience is necessary – the OLW covers all content from technical skills (tying knots, starting a camping stove, leave no trace, etc...) to interpersonal skills (creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, leading reflections, reading a group, facilitating team-building experiences, etc…).
OLW participants are asked to commit their Tuesday evenings (7pm-10pm) during spring semester and attend the Skills Intensive Weekend in April.
At the end of the spring semester, OLW participants who are interested in becoming a Ramble Outdoors student facilitator may apply to be a part of the Facilitator Practical Interview.
