 Winter Break Florida Kayaking Trip
1/2 - 1/10/2015  $450
everglades 2015  Want to get away from the winter weather and sea kayak in southern Florida?  Are you interested in learning more about the ecology of the Florida Everglades?  Want to take a risk and try something new?  Join Ramble Outdoors for a week-long kayaking trip to the 10,000 Islands.
We will explore the mangroves, small bays and Gulf of Mexico by day and campout on white sandy beaches each night.  Our itinerary is geared for first-time paddlers, but varied paddling conditions will provide a challenge for all.  We will move camp most days on this expedition.  Nothing but sand will separate our camp from the water each night.  Reflection, lessons on the local ecology, short hikes around the islands, yoga, cooking amazing meals and of course enjoying this amazing natural area are all on the agenda.
This is a terrific opportunity to escape the cold, build new friendships, learn outdoor skills, relax, and be challenged in a beautiful environment.  The trip cost of $450 includes a rocking road trip both ways, lodging, group gear, meals in the field, kayaks, sleeping bag, and headlamp.  Road trip meals as well as personal gear (jackets, hats, ect.) are not included in the cost.  No prior paddling experience necessary.
