Office of Institutional Effectiveness

Office Priorities

In order to provide high-quality data and information for our stakeholders—and meet the University’s most critical needs on a timely basis—the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) prioritizes incoming data and research requests as follows:

  • Government-mandated submissions
  • Compliance (bond and regulatory)
  • Accreditation agency compliance
  • Requests from the Provost's Office, President's Office, Members of the Board of Trustees, Regents, or President's Cabinet, Deans
  • Requests from Enrollment Management, Finance, or Univeristy Marketing
  • Grant proposals
  • College and university rankings
  • Requests for supporting internal surveys
  • Requests from individual academic departments or schools
  • Requests from individual faculty for support with research or teaching projects
  • Requests from media
  • Requests from advancement
  • Support for graduate thesis or dissertation
  • Requests for supporting external surveys

Requests from external groups for support in market research may be considered in the context of a fee for services agreement. Contact the Director of OIE if you are interested in this type of agreement.

The priority levels listed above should be regarded as a general guideline.  Some requests may be given a higher or lower priority depending on their institutional priority or our current work load and set of deadlines.  We cannot consider requests to help with homework assignments or term projects.
