Why did you choose to come to Loyola?

Actually, I didn’t know about the cities here or universities. Then I was searching for universities and then I found Loyola and thought it should be a really good university.

What has been your favorite event at the I-House?

Oh that’s easy! Japanese night. I love everything from Japan. I also loved the Korean night. I like learning about the different cultures.

Where do you go in Chicago for fun?

I like to swim in Damen Center and go to Millennium Park and downtown. It’s really beautiful and I like to go shopping. I also like the Brazilian restaurant in Belmont—it’s very authentic!

Have you traveled anywhere else in the US? Where was your favorite?

I went to Orlando, Washington DC, LA with the Chicago Center.  I also went to San Francisco. And most recently, New York.  My favorite was Florida because its hot and I was with my friends and went to parks and roller coasters. I also really liked New York even though it’s very tiring.

What is something you learned from the International House?

I never thought before that I could make friends from other countries and I never thought I could take classes in the US with only English and all Americans. Every day I learn things and about different cultures.

What will you miss most about the International House/Loyola/Chicago?

I will miss everything! My room is like my own mansion because it’s bigger than my room back home. I will also miss every one and learning about their culture, family, and language!
