Loyola University Chicago

Major: Political Science

Why did you come to Loyola?

I wanted a university that had a community that strongly encouraged education and knowledge, and Loyola definitely proved that to me. It also helps that the campus is beautiful and I adore city living.

What have you enjoyed so far about living in the International House?

I love I-House, which is funny since it wasn't listed as one of my preferences but it definitely is the best place to live on campus. I think the tight knit community of the house is amazing since it is small, I like living with all types of people I wouldn't meet anywhere else (some of them being people I consider best friends) and as a transfer student I appreciate being surrounded by people in the same situation as myself.

Where do you go in Chicago for fun?

The Shedd Aquarium, I love learning and I think the Shedd is the best place to run around with friends and learn about marine life.

Where are some cool places that you have traveled?

I haven't travelled internationally...yet. But, my favorite place in the whole world so far is Washington, D.C. I live for politics and history  and I love what the city has to offer, the good and the not so good.

What are you looking forward to most during your time at the I-House/Loyola?

I really like making new friends at I-House and I'm excited to learn all that I can while at Loyola.
