Sunny takes on key leadership to foster an evidence-based culture, emphasizing data utilization, strategic analysis, and policy recommendations driven by actionable data. As an educational researcher with expertise in student success and higher education policy analysis, she collaborates across campus-wide units to cultivate a robust data-culture that not only makes data-informed decisions but also values, trusts, and shares data as a core institutional asset.  She was honored with the Best Institutional Research Leadership Award at a national conference for her comprehensive research on high-impact practices to increase student retention.
