Program Overview

The online Master of Social Work (MSW), Bilingual Spanish, is an innovative offering by the School to ensure that our communities have professional social workers who are linguistically competent and culturally aware about the nuances faced by individuals, families, groups, and communities when faced with receiving services that support making their families thrive. This unique program seeks to enhance knowledge, values, and skills of all of you who have a passion to work with vulnerable, disenfranchised individuals in society. We are offering a specialization in Health/Mental Health with a sub specialization in Migration studies.

La maestría en trabajo social (MSW) bilingüe en español se ofrece como un programa innovador de la Escuela de Trabajo Social, para asegurarse que las comunidades latinas tienen trabajadores social profesionales con habilidad lingüística y con consciencia cultural de los aspectos más sutiles que enfrentan los individuos, familias, grupos y comunidades cuando reciben servicios para ayudar a sus familias a prosperar. Este programa incomparable tiene como meta fortalecer el conocimiento, los valores y las destrezas de aquellos que sienten la pasión de trabajar con personas vulnerables y que son privadas de sus derechos en nuestra sociedad. Ofrecemos una especialización en salud/salud mental con una subespecialización en estudios migratorios.
