First-Years
Loyola University Chicago Orientation (LUCO) for first-year students is a mandatory, two-day, overnight program that is comprised of sessions to introduce you to academic and student life at Loyola. Orientation Leaders will share their Loyola Experience with you, answer your questions, and do their best to ensure your smooth transition into the Loyola community!
Registration will open for LUCO on Monday, May 8th at 10:00am CT. Students can register via their student portal (orientation registration will not be visible until Early May). Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check your summer plans before registering, as rescheduling may be not be possible. Please only attend the orientation session for which you register.
Check-in for LUCO will be available from 9:30AM - 11:00AM on Day 1, with the formal program beginning at 11:00AM. Checkout and the closing picnic will begin at 12:00PM on Day 2. Please coordinate your travel based on these start and end times. Both days of the program are mandatory, which includes the overnight stay in a Loyola University Chicago Residence Hall.
