More information is available below and on your Student Portal.
More information about the University's response to coronavirus (COVID-19) is available at https://www.luc.edu/coronavirus/
First-year and Transfer students, Loyola University Chicago Orientation (LUCO) will be your opportunity to connect with your future classmates and begin building community at Loyola. Family and guests, LUCO will serve as a time to learn about your student's transition to academic and student life at Loyola, and the many resources and opportunities available to you and them.
During Orientation, students will learn about the many resources, opportunities, and services Loyola provides to support your academic and personal success, including learning about which fall classes will help you achieve your academic goals. LUCO will introduce you to the people, values, and traditions that will enrich the Loyola Experience. In order to best prepare for Orientation, please review our Before Orientation page.
In summer 2020, LUCO will be a fully online experience that continues all summer long. We'll officially begin with the Online Orientation Kickoff Events on Friday, June 5. Each student will also need to register for their required elements of orientation. Registration for required online LUCO events will be available through your student portal starting on May 4 for Transfer Students and May 11 for First-Year Students.
