International Student Orientation and Registration
International students will be contacted by the Academic Advisor for International Students in June or July to help them register for their fall classes.
International students will move in to their residence halls on Monday, August 19.
On Tuesday, August 20, the Office for International Programs will offer immigration check-ins, educational sessions, and social programming for international students and their parents/guests. For F-1 and J-1 students, immigration check-in is mandatory. Failure to do so can result in the termination of your student visa.
International students will attend their mandatory, two-day, University Orientation on August 21-22. Check-in will begin at 8:30AM on Wednesday, and the program will begin with an International Immigration Presentation at 10:30AM on the 4th floor of the Information Commons. The orientation program will conclude at 1:00PM on Thursday with a closing picnic. Parents and guests are welcome to attend their own optional, concurrent orientation program.
