Chicago Area-Focused Repurpose Research Request for Proposals

Cures Within Reach currently have an open repurposing research funding opportunity for Chicagoland PIs in any unsolved disease. We're building a pipeline of repurposing research in the Chicago area, and we want to hear from researchers at Loyola University. If interested, please reach out to Stephanie Kimmel (skimmel@luc.edu), and copy ORS(ors@luc.edu).

  • Projects repurposing approved drugs, devices, nutraceuticals and diagnostics in any unsolved disease are eligible
  • Budgets of up to $50,000 are accepted; this funding can cover all costs or supplement existing funding
  • Proposal submissions are due by June 1, 2020 on our CureAccelerator platform
  • There‚Äôs no limit to the number of submissions from any institution or PI
  • Funding for one project will be awarded at a Chicago CureAccelerator Live! philanthropic pitch event in Fall 2020, with funding for at least one other project to follow
  • To start a proposal, log into CureAccelerator or sign up as a Researcher or Clinician. Registration on CureAccelerator is free, fast and easy
