A Thanksgiving Message from the Dean

Message originally sent 11/24/2020

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff:

As we come together to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to take a moment and give thanks for my Parkinson Family.

  • Thank you to our students for your unending resilience and enthusiasm to live out the Jesuit mission and find new ways to learn, advocate, serve, and care for the community during these unprecedented times.
  • Thank you to our outstanding faculty who have gone above and beyond to maintain continuity in teaching, scholarship, mentoring, and research.  To those faculty who balance teaching and working on the front lines of this pandemic, we are tremendously grateful for your service.
  • Thank you for the tireless dedication of our staff, who maintain our school operations and support our Parkinson community each day.

This year many of us will celebrate the holiday physically separated from our family, friends, and loved ones.  No doubt living through a pandemic is tough business.  My wish is that you all stay safe and healthy. I hope you find comfort in your Parkinson Family and take the time to recharge and renew yourself during the coming days.

With gratitude,

Dean Elaine.
