Virtual Coffee with the Dean

Message originally sent May 13, 2020

Congratulations on making it through the semester – lots of change, lots of transition.  Thank you for your flexibility.  Certainly a time of uncertainty, but also one of coming together to make a difference in the health of our society.

In the spirit of staying connected as we head into the summer and in fostering a welcoming ‘open door’ environment for our students, I am inviting you to join me in a virtual ‘cup of coffee’ conversation this Saturday.

I began these with Parkinson student group leaders during the spring semester and feedback was positive.  So I’d like to open them up for all students.  I’ll be holding two sessions – one for undergraduate and one for graduate students.

There is no agenda.  Just an opportunity to talk with one another and discuss any questions you might have.  I may not have all the answers, but I promise I will be there to listen, learn and follow-up where needed.

I’ll hold these periodically over the summer, so don’t worry if you can’t make this one.  I just want to make sure everyone is feeling supported and has a forum for asking questions.

Stay well,
