I earned my undergraduate degree from Illinois State University majoring in Public Relations. I then went on to complete my master's degree from Illinois State focusing on Interpersonal Communication. During my graduate career I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant as well as a Graduate Assistant in the School of Communication's Advising Department. It was during this time that I knew I wanted to become an academic advisor. I originally came to Loyola University Chicago through the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing, advising undergraduate Healthcare Administration and Exercise Science majors. Once the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health was founded in the summer of 2019, my undergraduate programs were relocated into the School. I greatly enjoy working with my amazing colleagues in Parkinson, as well as the students I serve. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, exercising, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
