What prompted you to pursue your field?

Physiology and anatomy of the human body have always intrigued me, because even though we know so much about it, there are infinite variables, both internal and external, that can influence the biological processes and physiological responses of an individual. Ever-evolving research demonstrates that physical activity (or the lack thereof) is one of the most modifiable behaviours that can impact the human body, regardless of an individual's physical, cultural, or emotional attributes.

What's it like to teach at Parkinson?

At Loyola, I value the opportunity to teach a diverse group of extraordinary young adults who share my passion for helping others and want to challenge themselves. I get to be a part of their journey in which they learn that through different exercise interventions and they can have a lasting, positive impact on health outcomes, including their own. And that may be the most rewarding part!
