LUC Physics ranked No. 2 nationally in number of degrees conferred by undergraduate department
In the most recent issue of Focus On, the American Institute of Physics (AIP) published their Results from the 2018 Survey of Enrollments and Degrees. The AIP publication reports the national statistics for physics degrees from 2016 - 2018. The LUC Department of Physics was ranked second in the nation for the number of degrees conferred by an undergraduate department. During this time, the LUC Physics averaged 34 graduates per year. These students completed degrees in Physics, Biophysics, Theoretical Physics/Applied Mathematics, and Physics with Computer Science. The Department is proud of the hard work and dedication these students have shown, and it looks forward to preparing the incoming classes of physics majors for their future.
