POLS 201 -Polish for Medical Professionals is designed to prepare students for medical professions, for future physicians, dentists, and nurses. Students will practice vocabulary for anatomy and physiology. This course is designed for students in pre-med curriculum and medical/health majors and minors. Students will learn medical terminology, parts of the body, physiology, names and symptoms of most common diseases, and addictions, as well as terms for standard medical procedures and medications.

The 2015 Chicago Catholic Immigrants Conference (CCIC) focuses on the Polish immigrant community in Chicago.
