John Kafarhire

John Kafarhire is a fourth-year Ph.D. student interested in International Relations and a Research Assistant in the Political Science Department at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to joining Loyola, he received a master’s in international studies from DePaul University in Chicago. His primary research is on international institutions and foreign aid allocation in Africa. His dissertation project investigates what drives the foreign aid policy of institutions like the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the European Union toward Africa.
