Political Science Honors Award Ceremony

The Department of Political Science honored five sets of Political Science students at our April 4, 2018 honors ceremony, which was attended by family and friends.  Most of these students are graduating seniors.  Congratulations to our 2018 awardees!

Nick and Loretta Feller Endowed Scholarship

Student Awardee: Dina Hanania.

Award Description: This endowed award, funded by the Feller family, recognizes the top graduating senior in Political Science.

Graduating Seniors Academic Excellence Awards

Student Awardees: Roxana Berinde (Sarkesian Award), Thomas George (Woelfl Award), Dina Hanania (Woelfl Award), Sarah Miyahara (Woelfl Award), Jessica Paterson (Hartnett Award), Natalie Pine (Sarkesian Award), Maria Ralenkotter (Sarkesian Award), Hannah Rogers (Hartnett Award) and Keegan Sims (Hartnett Award).

Award Description: These awards honor the memories of Professors Robert Hartnett, S.J., Samuel Sarkesian, and Paul Woelfl, S.J.

Award Description: This award is provided to graduating seniors who successfully complete the senior honors seminar.                                    

Tuma-Gravett Award

Student Awardees: Muhammet Asil (PhD Candidate) and Thomas Callan (MA Candidate)

Award Description: The Tuma-Gravett awards are funded by the generous donations of Amber Gravett and Dave Tuma, who are alumni of Loyola University Chicago.
