January 13, 2021

Dear Loyola Community,

It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to join the Stritch School of Medicine on Thursday, January 28 for a unique opportunity: a conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci, renowned physician expert and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health.

“Beyond Physician Leadership: Values, Virtue, and Character”
– In Conversation with Dr. Anthony Fauci

Thursday, January 28
11-11:45 a.m. Central time
(Advanced registration required)

John Hardt, PhD, vice dean for professional formation at Stritch, will lead a 30-minute conversation with Dr. Fauci focusing on character development and formation as a critical component of medical education. A hallmark of Stritch is its focus on developing physician leaders who have the values, character, and resilience to become exceptional clinicians and scientists, joyful professionals, and true persons for others. As a model physician and a person of strong values, it is our hope that Dr. Fauci’s expertise and insights can help demonstrate the importance of professional formation as part of a well-rounded medical education.

During the last 10 minutes of our conversation, Dr. Fauci will answer questions from the audience. If you have a question, please submit it when you register. This is a private event, so please refrain from sharing this invite outside the Loyola community. We look forward to having you join us for this unique educational opportunity.
