    Loyola University Chicago reached Tentative Agreements with SEIU Local 73 which will provide significant pay increases and enhanced job security for 350 full- and part-time non-tenure-track faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences and seven faculty in the English Language Learning Program.
  • NTT Faculty Vote to Ratify Agreements with SEIU Local 73

    Loyola University Chicago non-tenure-track faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences and English Language Learning Program have voted overwhelmingly to ratify their respective three-year collective bargaining agreements with Service Employees International Union Local 73.

    Jo Ann Rooney, JD, LLM, EdD, and Margaret Callahan, CRNA, PhD, FNAP, FAAN, announced the appointment of new director of the Gannon Center for Women and Leadership at Loyola, effective July 1.
  • Campus Safety Independent Review Task Force Update

    In March, President Rooney announced that an external investigation would examine the incident that occurred outside Gentile Arena on February 24, 2018. The report of the investigation has been presented to a task force of students, faculty, staff and outside experts. The University is sharing the report with the community in the interest of transparency and to serve as a basis for discussion and action steps this fall.
