Adverse and positive childhood experiences that impact long-term development and overall health outcomes. She has worked with Head Start programs on the Globalization, Resilience, and Child Equity Project under the supervision of Dr. Li-Grining. She has also worked as a teaching assistant for Dr. Garbarino's Psychological Perspectives on the Experience of Globalization. Finally, she is currently studying the relationship between teachers and students in classroom settings to better understand literacy and language development in minority bilingual students as part of the William T. Grant Foundation project, under the supervision of Dr. Gamez in the Bilingual Language Lab.
