AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO RESIDENT STUDENTS

The University Mailroom Staff welcomes you and hopes you have an excellent, successful, and productive Fall 2023 semester. As part of our beginning of the semester activities, we are outlining our mailroom items below for your review as it relates to schedules, expectations, and services provided to resident students throughout the academic period. 
  • Mailroom Schedule:  Monday through Friday – 9:00AM to 7:00PM  Beginning August 21st 2023 *unless otherwise posted at the mailroom*
  • Saturday Schedule (beginning of semester):

    Saturday August 26th 2023 Open: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
           
    Saturday September 2nd 2023 Open: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
    Saturday September 9th 2023 Open: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
    Saturday September 16st 2023 Open: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
    Saturday September 23rd 2023 Open: 9:00AM - 1:00PM
           
  • The mailroom is CLOSED on Sundays.
  • Mailroom will be CLOSED Labor Day (September 4th 2023)
  • Your Mailing / Shipping address (Mail and Packages): All resident students (regardless of your dorm location/address), must use mailing/shipping address below:

  • While we encourage everyone to come to retrieve packages and mail as soon as you get the automated email notifications, lines can be a little long in our mailroom. We’ve included a chart (below) to help you plan your time in the day considering general student traffic in our mailroom (M-F).

  • Students not returning, or moving off-campus MUST change their address with any institution that may send them mail or packages to avoid any delay in receiving their items. Mail and packages received for students not living on campus will be returned to sender. 
  • As a reminder: be sure to change your delivery options when ordering from Amazon or any other vendor that you order from to have your items delivered between the normal business hours which are 9am - 7pm, Mon-Fri.  There have been instances of packages being left outside the mailroom after hours and those have been taken.

University Mailrooms / Health Sciences Receiving and Mail Delivery

The Loyola University Mailrooms and Health Sciences Receiving and Mail Delivery are operated by Canon Business Process Services, Inc. The University has a contractual agreement with Canon to maintain Health Sciences Receiving/Mail Delivery and two University Mailrooms.  The Mailrooms process all resident student mail and packages as well as University business related mail and packages for faculty and staff. Faculty and Staff should not have personal packages delivered to the University.
