In 2011, the CME Group Foundation awarded Loyola’s School of Business Administration, now the Quinlan School of Business, a $1 million grant to support the creation of an innovative Business Analytics Lab. This grant enabled us to:
- Build a 56-seat lab that simulates real-world challenges in finance and business analytics. The lab is equipped with Bloomberg Terminals and live financial market indicators, as well as other financial and analytics software tools.
- Allow students to acquire hands-on experience and prepare to compete in a marketplace that values applied learning and practical experience.
- Offer students, faculty, and alumni a configurable space for group collaborations, trainings, workshops, and presentations.
In August 2015, the CME Group Foundation Business Analytics Lab opened in the Schreiber Center, the new home of the Quinlan School of Business. Through their grant, Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business was able to reinforce its position as a leader in Chicago's business and academic communities.
