At the Baumhart Center, we believe in the positive power of business ideas to drive social impact. Aligned with Loyola’s Plan 2020 – which commits the University “to act more for transformative justice” – we support students and leaders seeking to leverage business ideas to build a more just, humane, and sustainable world. The center is named for Father Raymond C. Baumhart, S.J., the former president of Loyola University Chicago and one of the country’s leading scholars of business ethics.
We promote social business in the service of a just, humane, and sustainable world. Through education, engagement, and research, we prepare students and leaders to tackle society’s most pressing challenges.
