The Bachelor of Arts/Master of Science in Marketing is an accelerated program which allows Loyola undergraduate public relations and advertising students to earn the two respective degrees in a slightly shorter period of time than by completing each separately.

Students generally take two MSM courses during their senior year of undergraduate work, and students may be eligible to waive up to four MSM course requirements based on undergraduate courses taken and grades received in these courses.

Students must complete the COMM 391 undergraduate internship course (which is required for all Advertising/Public Relations majors to complete for their curriculum) before they may be accepted into the MSM program. The program requires a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.5 in order for a student to be eligible for consideration.
