Throughout his multi-decade career Mike has always been a leader in designing, developing, and delivering technology solutions to business problems. With a love of software development, his depth of experience and skills led him to gravitate toward business-critical systems, including real-time claim processing platforms, high-volume market data, and complex enterprise system integrations.

Mike’s skill set includes technology breadth, strategic business understanding, investment acumen, and soft skills enabling various technology solutions that drive growth and profitability. More recently, he has focused on solutions that directly benefit end consumers. He has led efforts to integrate and analyze patient medical and pharmacy data to deliver valuable health recommendations to improve consumer health and cost via a multi-channel communication strategy. And Mike led development of a cloud-based service that identified drug cost savings for over 7 million consumers.

In addition, Mike has played significant roles in large-scale integrations due to mergers and acquisitions, including the Walgreen PBM by SXC, Catalyst acquisition by SXC, and later the purchase of Catamaran by UHG/Optum. Through all these mergers, Mike played a significant role in successfully delivering expected business and financial synergies.

Before his healthcare industry success, Mike served as a vice president of product management at Reuters (n/k/a Thompson/Reuters), ushering in the age of automated trading by managing and delivering a high-speed market data platform to the largest global investment banks. His work on the next-generation product delivered $90M in revenue over three years.
