About this event:
Join us, get inspired, and meet women from various family businesses while enjoying an elegant evening of dinner, cocktails, and conversation.  Special guest Mitzi Perdue will share business, family, and personal success tips from her father (co-founder of the Sheraton Hotel Chain), her husband Frank Perdue (the poultry magnate), and her own career in radio, television, rice farming and wine-grape growing. You’ll leave with not only practical insider tips but also with an abundance of inspiration.

Special Guest: Mitzi Perdue
Author and Professional Speaker

Mitzi Perdue has I’ve-lived-it experience as part of two long-lasting family enterprises. Her family of origin began in 1890 with the Henderson Estate Company, forerunner of the Sheraton Hotels which her father co-founded.  Perdue Farms (she’s Frank Perdue’s widow) began in 1920.  Mitzi will share her special success tips, which include:

  • How to Redefine Failure -- The only real failure is not giving your all.
  • How to Be an Informavore -- One good idea can change your life; many can lead to undreamed of success.
  • How to Create a Positive Family Culture -- Families that don't do this don't last.

Designed for:
Women stakeholders at any age and stage of family business (owner, married-in, Next Gen).  All are welcome.
