Meet Our Alumni
The MBA Health Care Management program provided me with valuable insights into our ever-changing, highly regulated and complex health care industry landscape. I had the privilege to learn from very knowledgeable and highly respected professors, health care professionals and also my peers, a diverse group of talented individuals from different realms of the health care sector. Our global health care immersion trip to Peru and Chile was a rewarding experience to learn about the challenges and constraints faced by these countries in delivering health care and their approach to finding innovative solutions. The MBA in Healthcare Management offered me tools that are critical to strategic thinking, planning, and implementation. Most importantly, I learned how to be a responsible and ethical leader to best serve my patients.

I've been in the field of genetics for over ten years, but as I made the transition from the clinical laboratory to a genomic medical device company, I knew I needed more than my prior scientific education to sustain future career growth. Loyola’s MBA in Healthcare Management provided the perfect combination of business coursework and opportunities to network in the healthcare field. The diverse healthcare group of clinicians, regulators, medical affairs, marketers and administrators gave group projects a whole new layer of complexity and allowed me to learn more about what other competing departments value. These insights to the healthcare market proved to be invaluable! Many of the course projects directly correlated to challenges we were facing in my full time job, so I was able to immediately provide my employer with thoughtful, well-researched, and creative solutions. The long-lasting benefits of this MBA program are well worth the investment. I’m proud to call myself a Loyola alum for life!
