All Quinlan MBA and MS graduates within the academic year are recognized at the Quinlan School of Business commencement ceremony in May. Students completing their degree at other times of the year will receive their diplomas after all course requirements are complete. All students must complete a full graduation application according to specified deadlines to receive their diplomas at the end of the quarter in which they anticipate completing their degree.
Graduation application deadlines for Graduate Business Students
- Fall Term: July 1
- Winter Term: July 1
- Spring Term: December 1
- Summer Term: December 1
Students must complete a graduation application in LOCUS to receive their diploma at the end of the quarter which they anticipate completing their degree. The graduation application in LOCUS can be found at "Academics" and "Apply for Graduation."
After completing the online graduation application, students will receive an e-mail from the Quinlan School of Business graduate programs office confirming that their application was received and will also receive a graduation audit. This will be sent to your LUC e-mail. It is the student's responsibility to make sure he/she has met all requirements for their degree. If there is a discrepancy in the graduation audit and your records, you must contact the Quinlan School of Business graduate programs office immediately.
Students who do not apply by the deadline for the term in which they will complete degree requirements will not be eligible to receive a degree until the following term. Please note that LOCUS will not allow you to apply for the graduation term beyond the deadline. Late applicants must apply for the next available quarter.
