Donna Warton, Hussam Bachour, Tanvee Agrawal, and Roy Scheck are the 2020 Supply Chain Management program honorees.

The Supply Chain Management program at the Quinlan School of Business recognized four alumni at the Supply Chain and Sustainability Summit, held virtually on October 6, 2020.

The alumni honorees were selected based on their contributions to the supply chain program and the industry.

About the winners

Alumna of the Year

Donna Warton (MBA ’93)

As the general manager of Microsoft’s devices supply chain, Donna Warton is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain for hardware including Surface, Surface Hub, HoloLens, Xbox, and more. With double-digit business growth, Donna is leading a digital supply chain transformation to scale operations, drive customer satisfaction, and be a showcase for Microsoft. Donna has a passion for business and building great teams. In 2019, Microsoft Devices Supply Chain won the talent diversity champion of the year award.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Donna served as vice president of global operations for Dell, head of global supply chain at Mettler-Toledo, and corporate vice president of global operations and supply chain for mobile devices at Motorola.

Rising Star Award

Hussam Bachour (MBA ’16, MSSCM ’16)

Hussam Bachour has been the supply chain systems manager at the UChicago Medicine since 2018. In his role, Hussam leads the business process team supporting the organization’s transformation to a digital supply chain, which required the implementation of multiple supply chain technology and data analytics projects. Prior to joining UChicago Medicine, he served as the supply chain performance manager at Northwestern Medicine.

He is an adjunct faculty member at the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. While a student at Loyola, he received the President’s Medallion in 2015, and was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu and Beta Gamma Sigma.

Graduate Student of the Year 2020

Tanvee Agrawal (MSSCM ’20)

Tanvee Agrawal’s leadership of Quinlan’s supply chain student organization has created many engagement opportunities for students. She received the EDGE Future Leader Scholarship from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ and the Paul S. Fisher Endowed Scholarship from Loyola.  

She is currently a project manager at Farmer’s Fridge and previously worked in the garment manufacturing industry. Tanvee holds an undergraduate degree in Fashion Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi, India’s premiere fashion school.

Graduate Student of the Year 2019

Roy Scheck (MBA '19, MSSCM '19)

Rock Scheck is an engineering manager at Daifuku-Wynright. A father of two and graduate of Purdue University’s engineering program, Roy has worked for several years as a software engineer in the materials handling industry. While at Loyola, Roy worked as a student consultant in the Supply and Value Chain Center, and he is currently serving on the center’s planning committee.
