The Help Desk


To assist students during move-in at both the Lake Shore and Water Tower Campuses the department of ITS: ResNet and Help Desk have extended their hours.

RESNET: Please see the move-in support schedule for ResNet providing students with support for their personal technology devices. During move-in the ResNet offices will be closed on certain days so the staff can provide support directly to the students in the residence halls. NO APPOINTMENTS will be taken, simply drop by one of the support locations for assistance.

NOTE: Data back-ups and system restores will not be completed during move-in or the first two weeks of school due to the high volumne of service requests.

Help Desk: The Help Desk will be providing extra assistance to students with service requests for IT supported areas during move-in with the following:

  • Blackboard
  • Cable TV in the residence halls
  • E-mail
  • Passwords
  • Telephone Service
