*Note that a cost is associated with staying on campus over Winter Break and that will be outlined in the upcoming email as well.

Please note that dining hours during Winter Break will be limited, but you may use RamblerBucks at several area restaurants.

Students in Residence Halls that Close

During Winter Break, all residential buildings are closed and no students will be permitted to return to or enter these buildings for any reason.

When leaving for Winter Break, please take any important belongings with you (medications, ID, passport, keys, etc.) as you will not be permitted access to your building/room during break. If you will be living in the same room for spring semester, take your room key with you. You may leave your belongings in your room, but again, be mindful of taking what you will need while you are away for Winter Break.

The residence halls re-open on Sunday, January 15 at 12PM (noon).

Community Meetings

Community Meetings will take place in November and all residents are encouraged to attend regardless of Winter Break plans. During your Community Meeting, you will learn more about Winter Break Stays, preparing to leave your building, and the check-out process for students not returning after Winter Break. You will also be able to ask your RA any questions you may have.

Break Prep Checklist

In order to ensure that our buildings are safe, sanitary, and sustainable during Winter Break, students will be provided with a checklist in November.
