Please note: Details on dining options are still being finalized and may eventually differ from those posted here. Please check back for updates, which will be posted as soon as they are available.

Daily dining times will be posted on Loyola’s dining website and outside each of the dining halls. The total number of diners allowed at any given time will be capped. A limited number of tables and chairs will be spaced appropriately for diners to use. Dining hall staff will manage access once the designated capacity is reached and will assist diners when spaces become available.

Food will be served in carryout containers; self-service will not be permitted. To maintain safe social distancing in queues, six-foot floor markers will be placed both inside and outside dining facilities. All diners must wear a face covering while in line. Diners can remove their face covering only while they’re eating and must replace it immediately after they’ve finished.

Campus Dining, Catering, and Retail Guidelines—Aramark and Handcut

This policy is designed to cover the health and safety of those who use dining, catering, or retail services at Loyola University Chicago, including services provided by vendors Aramark and HandCut. These guidelines will be updated by teams that are tracking the benchmarks, statistics, daily reports, etc. of local, state, and national authorities and will make the needed adjustments to daily operations and protocols.
