Film maker Michele Rho presented his documentary about the world's first restaurant inside a prison to the Rome Center community on Tuesday evening, April 9th. "Benvenuti in Galera" touches on themes of incarceration, the condition of prisoners and their right to work and dignity.

The spirit of pilgrimage in Assisi
The Rome Center has a long tradition of sending students on pilgrimage to Assisi. This year Dr Deborah Sawyer, Professor of Theology, accompanied students on a two-day pilgrimage to the town of St Francis, where they visited the main churches and religious sites, and had opportunities for spiritual reflection and prayer.
