Daniela Curioso started teaching Italian in 1982 in Edinburgh, where she taught for a year in several colleges. After graduating in “Foreign Languages and Literature” at the University of La Sapienza, she co-founded Italiaidea, an Italian language and culture center in Rome. From 1984 to 2007 she developed programs for American universities in Rome, including Cornell University, Dartmouth College, De Paul University, Loyola College, and Rhode Island School of Design. Her other passions are practicing yoga and exploring the world. She has travelled extensively and, between 1997 and 2004, she volunteered in Mozambique at a center for street children. She is currently teaching Italian at JFRC and Temple University, where she is also coordinating a new exchange project with a Roman high school, Liceo Mamiani.
