Kutschera, Fr. Rudolf

Rudolf Kutschera teaches theology at the JFRC in Rome. After completing an MA in Pastoral Studies at Loyola University Chicago, he served as a youth chaplain and parish priest in Austria and Germany. In his doctoral thesis at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, he focused on Jewish-Christian dialogue. He also earned a diploma to teach English as a foreign language at the University of Münster in northern Germany. He has taught religion and English at various levels in Austria and Germany and was involved in developing an adult education program in Grottaferrata, Italy. He has lived in Rome since 2015 where , as part of a team, he initiated the online learning program “Theology of the People of God” at the Pontificia Università Laterense, for which he serves as a tutor. His publications in German cover a wide range of topics within biblical, dogmatic, and ecumenical theology.
