About

She was born and raised in Rome. She then moved to the UK where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She lived and worked in the UK for ten years. Upon returning to Rome in 2004, she opened a private practice and went on to train as a Psychotherapist, using an integrated psychodynamic and systemic model.

Dr Ahmadi has been working as a student and staff counselor in American Universities in Rome since 2012. Her own experience as a young woman studying abroad, as well as her mixed cultural background, are precious sources of inspiration and reflection in her clinical work at the John Felice Rome Center. Her main goal is to offer a safe, supportive and creative space for students whilst studying abroad in Rome to reflect on their experience and receive the psychological support they need.
